After 40 years, Toyota is still growing in Michigan. The $126 million expansion project of the York Center started in June 2015. In May 2017, Japanese automaker unveiled the 135,000-square-foot expansion in York Township and celebrated the 40th anniversary of its research and development operations in Michigan. Intentio’s BIM team modeled the lighting and electrical systems in the new addition. Officials celebrated the opening of the automaker’s largest research and development center outside of Japan.
